 
Dorinda Martin is New TPA President-Elect; Bruce Biundo Elected VP
Dorinda Martin, R.Ph., of Austin is the new TPA-President Elect. Bruce Biundo, R.Ph., of Houston was elected Vice-President in the recently concluded TPA elections.
Martin, a longtime TPA member, is co-owner of Dripping Springs Pharmacy outside Austin and Lamar Plaza Drug Store in Austin. She is a former member of the TPA Board of Directors and former speaker of the House of Delegates. Biundo, a consultant pharmacist who works for Professional Compounding Centers of America, is a former TPA Board member, former chair of the Academy of Compounding Pharmacists and former president of the Houston Area Pharmacy Association.
Martin and Biundo will be sworn in at the President's dinner on July 18 at the 2010 Rxperts Conference & Expo in Austin. As president-elect, Martin will become TPA president when incoming President Dennis Song of Flower Mound concludes his term of office in July 2011.
New officers were also elected for seven TPA academies. Those officers will also take office in July during the 2010 Conference & Expo.
